The Official Online Newspaper for and by the Students of IAIA |

Freedom of the Press is a right guaranteed by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and a right affirmed by the Supreme Court in 1957 to ensure the unfettered interchange of ideas for bringing about the political and social changes desired by the people. In that spirit, the IAIA Chronicle, a student newspaper of the Institute of American Indian arts published by the creative writing program, adopts the following policies:
In the pursuit of the unfettered interchange of ideas, the IAIA Chronicle will not shy away from coverage of controversial topics, but instead will seek to cover such stories fairly and accurately. Reporters and editors will exercise good taste and sound judgment in reporting and in publication of photos and graphics. All sides of an issue will be explored, and all parties will be give opportunity to respond to coverage they may feel is unfair or unbalanced. Editor-in-Chief: Evelina Zuni Lucero Editor: Tristan Ahtone, Leslie Gee Reporters: Santee Frazier, Ruth Mustus, Loretta Francis, Dulbert Yazzie, Cathy Rexford, Lesie Gee, William Bravebull Web Design: Tristan
